Official Modified Local Rule Explanations for the SMGL

• Clean and Place is decided at the start of each round.

• Free drop from Divot in Fairway

• Bunkers

  • Standing water is a free drop out of the trap no Closer to the hole.

  • Packed Trap - Rake Square and drop from Knee

  • Foot print - Rake and Drop from Knee

• Root Rule - Ball is to be played as it lies or played as "un-playable" and dropped with stroke.

• OB Drop - Is 2 club lengths from where it "Entered" the OB Area or as far back as you would like to go on that line.

• Fence - Play it where it lies
