Ricky (formerly known as Ryker) is CKC registered with a 10 generation Pedigree as well as Embark DNA and health tested 100% Miniature Schnauzer.  Ricky weighs about 20 pounds.

We offer him for Stud service for a fee.  He is a loving dog who is playful, great with children, and has a very calm demeanor.  He has several proven and healthy litters, including my four healthy litters.  

One important requirement on your part, if seriously considering using Ricky as your stud, will be that your female will need to have a "brucellosis" test prior to the mating process.  This is usually done 1-2 weeks prior to her heat cycle.

What it is brucellosis in dogs: it is an infectious disease caused by Brucella canis. It primarily affects the reproductive system but can also involve joints, the spine, lymph nodes, and other organs. It is zoonotic, meaning it can spread to humans, though this is rare. 

Dogs typically contract B. canis through:

• Mating with an infected dog

• Contact with infected birthing fluids, tissues, or vaginal discharge (highly infectious for 4–6 weeks after birth/miscarriage)

• Sniffing/licking infected genital areas

• Puppies infected in the womb or via milk

• Less commonly: contact with infected urine, blood, saliva, or contaminated environments (which can remain infectious for months)
