I want to assure you that you are dealing with an honest and real person with integrity. In this world of internet scammers, where even I have been scammed, I can understand your hesitations. I want you to feel comfortable with me, as well as I need to be with you, because in reality, it's like you are adopting one of my "babies", albeit a puppy. In this section, I discuss my current puppies, past puppies, puppy price, how to reserve a puppy, deposit, health guarantee, delivery (if needed) and gift bag items.
Update: On April 22, 2025 - at 5:52 a.m., Lucy began delivering her first puppies. She had eight (8) puppies in all, delivering her last puppy at about 8:42 a.m. and she had 5 girls and 3 boys. Mom Lucy and the puppies are all doing great and resting comfortably. I will be updating and adding photos on a weekly basis in the "Puppy Status" section. Lucy had three (3) Salt & Pepper puppies and (5) were born beige and black, but from Lucy's past litter, these puppies have turned an all-white color with some black trimmings, which is like their Daddy Ricky who is all white. If you refer a customer and a puppy is purchased from your referral, you will receive a $50 discount towards your own puppy purchase upon receipt of your referral's full puppy payment or a $50 gift card at the time full puppy payment is received, whichever you choose.
**RESERVE A PUPPY: In order to "reserve" a puppy prior to their 8-week Vet checkup, it is important that you contact me via email (smartschnauzers619@gmail.com) with your selection or you can text me at 619-381-4338. Upon receiving your email address, I will send you a "Contract/Health Guarantee" form.
DEPOSIT: A $100 non-refundable deposit will be required to reserve your puppy, along with the completed "Puppy Contract/Health Guarantee" form. Once your $100 non-refundable deposit is received, it ensures that your chosen puppy is reserved and not sold to anyone else interested in the same puppy. Preferred method of payment would be Zelle because I have found it trustworthy, and it is received immediately. Once both deposit and the Puppy Contract have been received, your selected puppy will be reserved and the puppy will be noted on my website as "Not For Sale" (NFS). If you have paid the non-refundable deposit and later decide to wait for another litter, you can as long as you let me know in advance so that I can make that puppy available to anyone interested. The deposit would again not be refundable at any time, but you have the option to choose a puppy from a different litter. Please note, if I have retired Lucy before you have selected a puppy from any of her previous litters, your deposit is still not refundable.
The selection of a puppy will depend on what order your deposit and Contract form was received. You can also see and select your puppy via photos or videos. Puppy availability will always be updated here on this website or on my social media pages, but you can always reach out to me for verification. When your puppy has been reserved, and you are okay with it, I will be keeping in contact with you via text messages, FB messages, video messages on a weekly basis until the puppy has had his/her 8-week Vet checkup and is ready to go their furever home.
If puppies are 8-weeks or older and are still available, the process is still the same, but you would not have to wait to pick up your puppy or have it delivered. You can also wait for another litter to make a selection by placing yourself on a "waiting list" at no charge. Anyone on the waiting list will be contacted once a new litter is expected and if you are still interested, you can let me know of your decision to proceed at that time or not. If I do not hear back after notifying you within 24 hours, I will presume you are no longer interested in obtaining a puppy from me and I will contact the next person on my waiting list.
IMPORTANT - the $100 deposit fee is non-refundable; however, it can be transferrable should you change your mind about the puppy you've selected prior to pick-up and full payment. You can wait for another litter to select from or select a puppy from the same litter should there not be a puppy available at the time that you change your mind. This is all explained in the "Puppy Contract/Health Guarantee" that you will receive when your deposit is made. If there is to be no future litters from my Dam, your deposit is still not refundable. I expect my Dam, Lucy, to have no more than four litters. She has now had two litters.
If the puppy has not been paid in full by the arranged pick-up date, which is at 8-weeks, then you forfeit your $100 non-refundable deposit and the puppy (unless prior arrangements have been made and mutually agreed to).
HEALTH GUARANTEE - the Puppy Contract/Health Guarantee that is signed by both you and me, (new puppy owner) during the puppy process, specifies that the puppy has a 1-year Genetic Health Guarantee and contains other important terms and conditions regarding your puppy.
Delivery/Traveling Costs: If necessary and when possible, I can drive and/or deliver or meet up with you with the puppy for a fee. The fee depends on the distance. We can also make arrangements to fly to your location for delivery of your puppy for the cost of the Airfare and any expenses. These fees would have to be made in advance prior to delivery of puppy. SUMMARY - PUPPY PROCES STEPS:
Step 2: The Puppy Health Guarantee Contract will be sent to you for completion and signature and needs to be returned to me along with your $100 non-refundable deposit within 72 hours.
Step 3: After sending me your $100 non-refundable deposit and Puppy Contract via Zelle at 619-381-4338, the puppy becomes "Not for Sale" (NSF) to anyone else and will be shown on my website as such.
Step 4: At 8-weeks, puppy will be Vet checked and vaccinated. A pickup date and time will need to be set.
**If Puppy is older than 8-weeks and puppy has already been Vet checked and vaccinated, a $100 non-refundable deposit will need to be made along with the Puppy Contract. Final remaining balance would be due on day of delivery of puppy via Zelle.
Step 5: Final full payment to made along with delivery/pickup of puppy.
