About me: My name is Yolanda and I retired from the San Diego Police Department as the Payroll Supervisor in 05/2022. I've raised three daughters and have 10 grandchildren. My boyfriend, Steve, also retired from the SDPD after 35 years as a Homicide Detective and is a tremendous help with the care of Lucy and Ricky whenever I'm busy with the care of our new puppies.
I've learned a lot in the past couple years. I've learned that raising litters fills me with so much joy. I've received invaluable information from an experienced professional breeder and who was also my mentor. Because of her mentorship, I am able to provide new puppy owners, whom I lovingly call "Pawrents", with a healthy puppy and provide them with information that they may need. I consider my Pawrents family, and it brings me tremendous joy when they send me updates. To me, they will always be family.
About Jennifer: Jennifer was in the veterinary field as a technician for over 18 years and also has a passion working with animals. She retired from breeding Snorkies and Miniature Schnauzers when she moved out to Arizona. She now currently works with children on the spectrum. Her husband, Matt, is currently in the Military and together they have 3 children who love pets and often helped her care with her previous litters. Jennifer was Ricky's (formerly Ryker) original mom and she was my experienced professional breeder who was my mentor as mentioned above.
Together: I met Jennifer when I was looking for a stud for Lucy. Jennifer became my mentor and provided me with so much information while I was raising my puppies. I consider her trustworthy and a friend. Coincidentally, I too later moved from California to Arizona, and now we don't live too far apart from each other. After Lucy's last litter, I spoke to Jennifer about how sad I was not raising puppies. She felt the same way after she had retired from breeding. We discussed the possibility of getting a female poodle or schnoodle together but that Ricky would stay with her while I took care of the puppy birthing and raising process. Needless to say, I was ecstatic that she was receptive to this proposal.
Our Breeding Values:We want to protect the integrity of breeding and in doing so, we increase the chances of those obtaining a puppy from us to add a healthy new furry member to your family. We are responsible for the health of every puppy prior to their departure to his/her new family. Weput our whole heart and soul into this process because we feel like they are our children and want them to have a safe and loving family to go to.
Both Miniature Schnauzers and Poodle breeds (Schnoodles) are widely considered as hypoallergenic because they have low-shedding coats, which is great for those who suffer from allergies. They make great loyal pets, smart, and are great companions for children, adults of all ages, and the elderly.
