Lifestyle
Just as important as diet and exercise for weight loss, is lifestyle. Here are our top tips...
Sleep by 10pm. An easy hack to get yourself into this routine, is to set your alarm for 6am every morning, this will automatically make your body ready to sleep by 10pm (don't nap in the daytime though!).
Reduce any medications. Speak with your doctor and try to limit medications. This allows you to listen to your body more closely and lower your toxic load. Instead of taking a painkiller for a headache; drink some water, go for a short walk outdoors and lie down in a dark room. You'll be amazed how our bodies can health itself.
Lower your toxic load. Avoid fluoride toothpastes, use non-aluminum antiperspirants, natural soaps, avoid cooking with 'non-stick' pans, avoid all plastics, don't use perfumes (or at least put them on your clothes not directly on your skin!), wear natural fabric clothes, wash clothes and dishes in low chemical products such as the 'eco' brands, and don't sleep with your mobile phone near you.
Be thankful. Keep a gratitude journal or tell someone everyday how thankful you are for them.
Dream and set goals. Think about what you really want out of life. Make a vision/dream board of things you want to do. Trips you want to go one, where/how you want to live, who you want to spend your time with, etc.
