FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Do I need travel insurance? Yes, it is advised.
Do I need a visa? No.
Do I need injections from the GP? No.
What are the average temperatures: Summer 30-40oC, Spring/Autumn 20-30oC, and Winter 20oC.
How is the wifi? The wifi can be slow. If you need a constant and fast internet connection while you are here, I recommending buying a local sim card at the airport for £20
What are the best things to buy in Morocco/Duty Free? Local produce such as argan oil for cooking and beauty, plus tagine pots, honey and almond butter.
What is the tourist tax in the hotels? This is a small amount paid locally, specified on your booked if you need to pay it. It can be paid by card or local currency.
What is the exchange rate? It varies, but usually just over 10 GBP to 1 Moroccan Dirham, so the easiest way to work things out is to take the 'zero' off the end, so if something is 10 Dirhams, it's 1 GBP.
Are there mosquitoes at night? Generally no, however some of the flies in the daytime do sometimes bite.
What should I bring with me?...

4 Wheeled cases > RyanAir/TUI Included Free Small Bag 40/25/20 Recommendation (no weight limit) - > RyanAir/TUI (only included free with TUI) Cabin Baggage 55/40/20 (max 10kg) - > EasyJet Included Free Small Bag 45/36/20 (max 15kg) - > EasyJet Cabin Bag 56/45/20 (no weight limit) - note with RyanAir & EasyJet it is usually cheaper (and easier!) to check-in a larger bag, than to but the larger hand luggage bag. > Large Check-in Bag
& don't forget your passport! (plus if you are flying with RyanAir or EasyJet print your return boarding pass as they don't accept electronic ones on your return. Plus note on your way back you have to get your boarding pass stamped by the check-in desk staff to enter the airport departure gates. Check-in desks often only open 2 hours before flights).
