Guest Feedback... "On the last Wellness Day that I attended we were given a timetable of events throughout the day. There was an exercise section, but dont be put off if you're a stranger to exercise! Jody catered for chair based & floor based exercise. Included in our day were drinks & shakes, a face pack... with face cloths available to wash it off. There was a mindfulness part too. For those who wanted to after the indoor session had concluded, their was an opportunity to get out in the fresh air for a planned walk which took about an hour. Make sure to dress weather appropriate seeing as it can be temperamental around Derbados!" Helen AW, Derby.

How do I pay? Please pay online via the link above to secure your place. If you would prefer to do a bank transfer > click here
Are you qualified and insured? Yes and we are also first aid trained and on the UK Register of Exercise Professionals (CIMSPA).
Can children (or vulnerable adults) attend and join in? No.
Are the products provided vegan/gluten free/kosher/halal/soy free? Usually yes, but please let us know any dietary requirements/allergies and we can ensure the products provided meet your needs.
Is there any form filling in involved? Only a basic details one on your first session. If you prefer you can fill it in here online before you attend... > registration form
What should I bring along with me? Nothing required, just come in comfortable and relaxed clothes, we would recommend layers, as you may get warm/cold. If you are taking part in the first fitness class and/or walk, you should bring suitable shoes. Protein shaker bottles are provided, however if you have one to hand, please bring it along to save waste.
Do I need any extra money on the day? Not really. Parking is free and all food and drinks are included. If you are coming on our walk, there is a cafe on the way if anyone wanted to take a break, so extra money would be needed if you wanted to buy anything there. You can also pay on the day for your place at the next wellness day if you wish (card payments accepted too). We will also have a little shop table in the hall of the same products as in your goodie bags, so if you want to try any additional flavors to take away and try at home, we will have;

Note if you do not have money on the day, or want to bulk buy and get them delivered directly to you, you can buy the products anytime here from our online > shop or pay me on the day and I will arrange delivery.
Is there a private place where the body scans can take place? Yes there is a separate room.
Do I need to lie on the floor? No. All sessions are chair based, however if you would prefer to sit or lie on the floor, please bring along a mat or towel and so as you wish.
Who will be attending? As I regularly coach mainly women who are looking to lose weight, those are the sort of people who attend, however it is open to everyone.
Can I attend if I am physically disabled or have limited mobility. Yes all levels can take part in all our sessions, as I have years of experience working with the not so fit.
What nutritional information will I be given? The food and drinks provided will all be nutrient dense and show you how you can enjoy a day of food that nourishes your body and mind with all the nutrients it needs. Plus in the goodie bags we provide has a meal plan if you need guidance. I am also available to provide 1:1 coaching outside the days if you require more support. I also coach people through a full meal replacement shakes plan, details are in the goodie bags.
How will the day help me sleep better? The food and drinks provided chemically help stay balanced, plus the physical activities help your body relax and want to rest and recover at night. Mentally focusing on your breathing and inner feelings also help you stop worry about any stress or issues you may have in your life.
How will the day help me achieve my goals? Practically we will do all the things involved in a daily healthy lifestyle. Mentally I provide accountability trackers to help you keep on track. I’m also available for 1:1 coaching outside the days if you need someone to regularly check in with you.
Do you have an example of the dance fitness class? Yes…
16. Why might we need electrolyte suppliments? To keep our body in balance to help us absorb water and stay hydrated. They can also help you drink water if you don't like plain water.
17. What’s in the protein shakes? This is the > brand with the ingredients list.
18. Why do you recommend protein shakes? Although they are processed food, I believe the benefits out weight the negatives and for the short term (a few years) or occasionally long term, they help me and my clients achieve our health and wellness goals.
19. Why huel? I’ve tested every shake on the market, and in balance these are the best for convenience, quality, taste, cost and nutrients. Plus they have the most fibre of all the shakes in the UK. They do contain grains and seed oils, but again, apart from this they are nutritionally complete and don't contain soy or artifical sweeteners like most of the others on the market.
20. Do you have any example of the seated stretch? Yes...
21. Why do you recommend the savory meals that are not low carb? Although nutritionally the shakes are low carbs and contain more beneficial nutrients, many people want something savory and warm in the winter, but with the same convenience as shakes, this is where occasional savory meals can be very useful to help you stick to your health plan.
22. Why is CBD helpful? Many of my clients use this “Medical cannabis” product to help them with aches and pains from arthritis, fibromyalgia, etc, plus it helps them relax and sleep. I am being led on this one by my clients outstanding results. Note CBD is a product of soy, so some many not find it useful.
23. What does the body scan involve? You can optionally go on my body composition scales which tell you…
To do this you just need to tell me your height and age, plus stand on the fancy scales barefoot for a few seconds. This will be done in a private room. And your results will be sent to you via WhatsApp a few hours after the session.
If you are trying to lose weight, I recommend you focus on your body fat percentage, not weight, as this will help you look and feel better.
For general health, focusing on your metabolic age is very useful.

24. What’s in the face masks? Brands we use vary so please check the packaging before use if you are wary of certain ingredients.
25. What is the relaxation session whilst we have our face masks on? We usually use a guided audio, here is an > Guided Relaxation
26. What’s in the protein snacks? We use various kinds, usually bars and usually gluten free where possible. They are not as nutritionally beneficial as the shakes, but again my clients report they help they stay on track and get their protein in.
27. Why is magnesium important? Firstly it’s an electrolyte to help you stay well generally. Secondly in a certain strength and quality like in our drinks, they can help you calm down and sleep.
28. Do you have an example of the breathing meditation? Yes, we usually use a guided audio like like > Breathing Meditation
29. What are the free Prize draw prizes? It varies, but always items around health, beauty and wellness like journals, branded tshirts, shakers, bags, etc.
30. What’s in the Goodie bags? Primarily it’s all the food and drink for the day in a Slim Brother branded reusable bag, but also has a few extras like caffeine free tea bags to take home, a little health and fitness gift, like a fitness band, a meal plan, food diary, goal tracker, a pencil, a raffle ticket for the prize draw, details of our next wellness day, details of my coaching services, and list of the products you had on the day, including why I recommended them and where you can get more if you find them useful.
31. Where do you walk to? Usually down to Stenson lock and along the canal path to near Mad Hatters Tea room in Findern, turn round and back again. Which is 4 miles and takes under 2 hrs. See rough route below…

However there is a cafe and pub at Stenson Lock half way if you would prefer to walk less or want a break.
For those wanting a even shorter and flat walk, there is a lovely walking all weathers path around the new estate where the community centre is. You are welcome to walk around that area alone or with anyone who wants that route too... approx 1.5 miles (2.5km), 3,500 steps, and takes around 40 minutes...
32. Do you do any special days? Yes we regularly run special themes for digestion, sleep, balance, etc. and have guest speakers. Sign up to my emailing list to keep up to date > newsletter
33. What is the clothes swap? We have a clothes swap table on the day, so if you have anything you can no longer fit in, please bring it along and you are welcome to take away anything you fancy from the table. Any leftovers you can take back or we will donate them to charity.
34. What is the running order of the day? Usually...
Welcome drink
Optional fitness class (45 min)
Protein drink and full introduction (and welcome drink for those just arriving) (15 min)
Then the Stretch/relaxation/meditation session (stretch 30 min, other 15 min)
With a break for food and drink between each session (15 min each)
Optional 1:1 body scan takes place whist people eat their lunch
During the breaks this is the best time have a look around the clothes swap and shop tables
We end with the prize draw, farewell and then optional walk
35. Is there time to ask questions in private on the day? Time is limited on the day so please try to ask questions before or after the day. Feel free to contact me anytime and I will reply as soon as I can. The link to email me is at the bottom of this page.
36. I work on Saturdays or can't attend this next event, where can I found out details of the future events? Join our mailing list and I'll let you know, when the halls not available on the Saturday, we regularly hold them on a Sunday and maybe try a Friday evening in the summer > Mailing List
37. How do I claim the 3 months free calm app subscription and what is it? Details of how are in the goody bag. Calm is an app with audios of guided meditations and more to help you relax, sleep, etc.
38. Should I eat or drink before I come? You can stick to your usual daily routine if you wish, however I will be providing all the meals and drinks you need in a day (80g+ protein, 2 ltr+ water and all essential nutrients)
39. Do I need to consume all products provided at the session. No, feel free to try what you wish from your goodie bag. As I guide you through what you might like to try and when, I will be explaining the features and benefits so you may find it useful to experience the taste and feelings to remember the products you like.
40. What if I don't like the flavour of the product in my bag, for example a chocolate protein shake? Feel free to help yourself and swap the product with one available that you prefer from our shop table.
41. How can I be sure the item is suitable for me, ie. Gluten Free? The product info sheet in the goody explains what products contain allergens. Most products also details on the actual packet themselves, others you may need to refer to the master box which will be on the shop table.

43. How many people will be at the event? We don't ever sell more than 20 places, however there is usually around 10 to 15 people.
44. Will I have to have my photo/video taken during the day? No. I usually take one group photo when we all have our face masks on, however it is optional to be in this photo and I will ask before taking the photo.
45. I have a business or some products/info I would like to in your goodie bags/prize draw? Please let me know and we can talk about it, I am always open to collaborate and recommend products I or my clients personally find useful.
46. How to I claim the included 1 month of coaching/community after the event? Join the > Facebook group here and follow the prompts in the group to be guided.
47. Why do you feel so strongly about avoiding artificial sweeteners, like diet coke? I see in myself and my clients they slow down weight loss, destroy good gut bacteria and cause many serious health issues. If you are a diabetic, they may be useful for special occasions, however for others natural sugars are recommended for 'treat' purposes.

49. What gratitide practise do you do? We simply make a list of 10 things we are thankful for.
50. What is the given meal plan in the goodie bag? We provide a different one every session as all 'diets' work, but some bodies get on better with one, and others get on better with something different. It's all good to keep on swapping and changing your nutritional approach. You can view all our meal plan after the day in our > Facebook group album.
51. What is the habit tracker in the goodie bag? You can list all the things you would like to do on a daily basis, and there is space to tick them off as you go for the month.
52. What is the goal tracker in the goodie bag? This helps you set a weight goal, track it for the month and also something to help you achieve it!
53. What is the food tracker in the goodie bag? A handy weekly sheet where you can record/plan your meals, plus all your essential nutrients, intermittent fasting hours, sleep, steps and water.
54. Do you have a body measurement chart? Yes you can download it > here. We gave this out in one of our previous wellness days when the gift was a tape measure.
55. Can I get a refund if I can't attend? Payments are non-refundable due to us buying pack stocks as we sell tickets, however as an alternative we are more than happy to post your personal pack (goodie bag!) to you, or maybe able to transfer your place on our next wellness day, subject to availability.

Venue
Where can I park? There is free car park at the front of the centre and there is also pull in places around the area.
Where do I go inside the building? The club is held in the main hall, which is on the right as you go in.
Do you have disabled/wheelchair access? Yes the brand new building is mobility friendly and has disabled parking and a disabled toilet.
Is there somewhere I can change my clothes? Yes the toilets can be used.
Is there anywhere to leave bags. There is no lockers, we will have a table for bags or you can keep them nearby you. No one from outside the group will be coming in to the large hall room during the session. We suggest you leave valuables. When we go on the walk at the end, there will be no longer access to the center, so please bring bags with you or leave in the car.
Will there be water drinking available? Yes. We provide bottled water in the bags, however there is also a tap available in the kitchen, so feel free to bring your water bottle available if you feel you may need extra water.
Is there a cafe/restaurant nearby the center? The Stenson Fields pub and restaurant is just a 7 minute walk away. The Stenson Bubble Pub/Restaurant, Stenson Lock Cafe and ASDA with its array of eateries, are all 20 minutes walk away.
