Second Life International Association of Firefighters

In the region of Peraut on Satori Mainland sat an old abandoned fire station lost to time. No one quite remembers what department once occupied it, or the sim it protected before it closed but there it sat off Linden Route 8. The windows and doors had been boarded up, the bay doors sealed, and a tree even began to grow through the asphalt pad where trucks once drove.

SLIAFF was in search of a new headquarters, a place where firefighters would want to gather. A stuffy office building wouldn’t due for this group of salty smoke eaters. They needed something familiar.

After years of restoration and renovation, countless volunteer hours by the membership, and generous donations by makers across the grid, the old station was reborn into a place for all firefighters internationally. Featuring a member lounge, firetruck bar, memorial gardens, meeting room, flags of our nations, and just a few offices, “Station 09” (Named after the year SLIAFF was founded) now stands as a proud symbol of the joys SL Emergency Services RP has to offer.
