I did my schooling at Apeejay School, Park Street, Kolkata and integrated masters in Biotechnology from St. Xavier's College,  Kolkata. I am currently working on investigating the perfusion-based influence on intra tumoral heterogeneity in Glioblastoma Multiforme. In my spare time, I like to paint and watch football.

I completed my B Sc in Biotechnology from Utkal University, Odisha and M Sc, Biotechnology from Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University, Odisha. I am looking forward to study the mystery of "Intratumoral Heterogeneity in Hepatocellular Carcinoma".

Apart from research, I engage myself in novels, music and enjoy getting some laughter dose by watching stand-ups.

I have completed my B tech in Biotechnology from Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Tamil Nadu. I am excited to explore the Perfusion Influence on Cancer Stem Cells in Hepatocellular Carcinoma. I like to spend my leisure time by sketching, watching movies and playing badminton.

I was born and brought up in Malda, West Bengal. I have completed my B.Sc. in Zoology from Scottish Church College, University of Calcutta. I did my M.Sc. in Zoology from Banaras Hindu University (BHU). My area of research lies in investigating the 'Intra-tumoral Heterogeneity in Hepatocellular Carcinoma'. In fact, I have a wide range interest in addition to science including singing, dancing, painting and recitation. I would give anything new and difficult a shot.

2022- SiRe Program

Joint supervision with Prof. Ishaan Gupta, DBEB

I completed MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, followed by MD (Internal Medicine) and DM (Medical Oncology) from AIIMS, New Delhi. I am a Medical Oncologist at AIIMS, New Delhi with my areas of expertise being breast and genitourinary cancers. I am following my passion for translational research to identify drivers of chemoresistance in triple negative breast cancer.

Apart from research, I love to travel, read and watch cricket. I am a certified SCUBA diver.

Ahoy! I earned my B.Sc. in Zoology & Biotechnology from Presidency College, Madras, followed by an M.Sc. in Life Science from NIT, Rourkela. I subsequently worked as a Project Assistant in the Computational Biology group at the Institute of Mathematical Sciences (IMSc), Chennai. I am passionate about exploring the various facets of tumor heterogeneity through the lens of spatial biology and aspire to become a systems biologist in the long run. Beyond science, I love reading, discussing academia, life, and philosophy, and pondering higher-order questions like “Who Am I?”

2024- UQ-IITD Joint PhD Program

I am a biotechnology enthusiast with a B.Sc.(2022) from Vikram University, M.P., and an M.Sc. (2024) from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. My research journey has taken me from molecular and structural biology at InStem & NCBS, Bangalore, to developing next-generation 3D models to optimize systemic therapies for metastatic and recurrent triple-negative breast cancer.  I am particularly passionate about translational research, bridging the gap between bench and bedside to bring scientific discoveries closer to real-world applications.

Outside the lab, I enjoy travelling, watching movies and sports, and exploring different business models—always curious to connect ideas across diverse fields.
