Homework for the week of October 13, 2025

The homework assignments below are due Friday, October 17 th. 

Learning Mat:  October Mat Week 4

• Students should complete one Math and one ELA activity each day. Additionally, they are asked to complete 3 activities from the Tic-Tac-Toe board.

All-In-One Decodable Mat

• Have your child practice reading the All In One Mat. In the first row have your child identify each letter and the sound it makes. Have your child practice reading the words and the sentences in the other rows. Continue to practice this page until the words and sentences are read fluently and with ease.

• The story this week is:  Pip Sits

Have your child read the passage or mini book aloud each night. We encourage you to listen to your child read the book and allow them to try to sound out the words on their own. After reading the book, have your child tell you about it what they read. If using the mini book format, there are comprehension questions you can ask your child found on the last page. The students will read the story to a teacher on Friday.
