• Have your child practice reading the All In One Mat. In the first row have your child identify each letter and the sound it makes. Have your child practice reading the words and the sentences in the other rows. Continue to practice this page until the words and sentences are read fluently and with ease.

Have your child read the passage or mini book aloud each night. We encourage you to listen to your child read the book and allow them to try to sound out the words on their own. After reading the book, have your child tell you about it what they read. If using the mini book format, there are comprehension questions you can ask your child found on the last page. The students will read the story to a teacher on Friday.
