Although not heard of often it still exists and everyone should be aware of the risks and what could potentially happen if not careful. This can consist of robberies and assault, and even rape with non violent crimes being grand larcenies and major felonies. Also there’s a 70% more crime than last year robberies surged by 72% and Felony assaults rose 28%
New Yorkers Against Gun Violence
This organization advocates for laws and policies to reduce gun violence at state,local, and federal level.
This Non profit organization seeks to end gun violence in neighborhoods by changing local norms about violence and creating educational and employment opportunities.
B.R.A.G ( Bronx Rises Against Gun Violence)
This program works with the community, public, and organizations to advocate for safer streets and establish norms against violence.
This organization was founded after the Aurora Colorado theater shooting in 2012. They provide support for survivors and educate survivors on how to speak about their experiences to others.
The rebels project goals are to embrace, support, and connect with survivors of tragedy and trauma by making a space space for people.
