Stroke

You will suspect a wide range of your patients to have a stroke. These sets of modules aims to help you understand what tools we have at hand to assess them. Most importantly, knowing the limitations of CT will help you make the appropriate decisions. In the world of stroke embolectomy, knowing which patients are and are not candidates for systemic thrombolysis or stroke embolectomy is essential.

This module has about 60 slides on it and covers the basics of brain imaging including stroke, aneurysms, subdural and epidural hematomas, etc. Some of this may be too high level, but seeing it once will be helpful because you will see this again.

(The slides are very quick so just pause each slide so you can actually read it.)
