Who was the prophet Azariah sent to speak the message to?
What was the message that reveals the secret to being strong in times of weakness.
What was the condition of the Nation, during this time?
How did the hearer of the message respond?
As we continue to look at the message of the Spirit of God to Azaraiah, he went out to meet Asa. Interestingly, the name Asa means "Healer." As I studied the life of Asa I discovered interesting patterns of his life.
Asa removed his mother from being a queen, whose name was"Maachah", because she made an idol of the in the grove. He destroyed her idol and burnt it by the brook of Kidron. 2 Kings 15:13
Then, one more illustration was that Asa's heart was perfect with the LORD all his days. 1 Kings 15:16
Asa, was also King of Judah. 1 Kings 15:9-24
2 Chronicles 15:3 The Lord is with you, while you be with him; and if you seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.
2 Chronicles 15:7 Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.
The prophet reminded Asa that the Lord was his companion and he could have fellowship with the Lord at any time: in every battle, in every dispute, in every worthy cause to wrestle for. At the same time: in every judgment to be made, in every situation of those who strive against him as King, and always at his side for any help in time of need. In short, the words that describe, "The LORD is with you" means that the King was overshadowed and huddling together, in order to become dim and hidden." [Strongs H6004]
While everyone needs encouragement in their lives, it is important to understand the secret of the instruction the prophet gave in order to be strong, and how to not be weak in his work as King so that his work will be rewarded.
Azariah told Asa, "Be strong." Here, this word means: to fasten upon, repair, bind, be established, harden, seize, to be strong in the mind. [Deut. 31:23] Rather than speak many words of knowledge without revelation, the question comes to mind, "What does he bind himself to? What does he strengthen himself with?" The first thought that comes to mind is, "Harder work" because this speaks of his work would be rewarded, or prosper. However, the work is found in "Repairing the Altar."
2 Chronicles 15:8 And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the Altar of the LORD, that was before the porch of the LORD.
The word altar represents the altars that are found in the Tabernacles: tabernacle of Moses, David, Solomon and more. In each of these Tabernacles there was three altars: The Mercy Seat [located in the Holies of Holies]; The Altar of Incense [located in the Holy Place]; The Brazen Altar [located in the Outer Court]. Each of these Altars represent how mankind and all creation live inside of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit.
It would be through the Sacrifices offered on the Altars that would represent Blood Covenant: how the Father rejoined back unto Himself through the Sacrifices of Christ Jesus on the Altars in hid His inheritance inside of Himself to give His redemption the Life of the Holy Spirit.
Here, the message of Blood Covenant is the secret to strength because it is here the Father's Love is the highest expression His redemption that abides through the Sacrifices of Righteousness in Christ Jesus, made alive by the Holy Spirit.
The Altars represented the expression of being in Divine Union in rest and righteousness in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and upheld in Blood Covenant through the Sacrifices of Righteousness of Christ Jesus in His death and resurrection.
The Holy of Holies-You are risen with Christ and hidden inside of the God-Head in the completed works of Blood Covenant in the revelation of the Ark of the Covenant. I have personally seen Christ Jesus and the Ark of the Covenant if you would like to hear more, please respond to this article through email.
The Altar of Incense-The characteristics of the resurrection of Christ Jesus revealed through His Sacrifices: the Eagle, the Lion, the Christ Jesus Ascended, the Oxen.
The Brazen Altar-The characteristics of the death of Christ Jesus revealed through His Sacrifices: the Turtledove, the Lamb, the Scapegoat, the Bullock.
It is how the King would be strengthened through the "Renewal of the LORD's Altar" in the application of Blood Covenant in his personal life in order to walk in rest and righteousness that would change the atmosphere of the Nation that once knew the LORD God. It would be through the "Renewal of the LORD's Altar" that King Asa would be a teaching Priest to the Nations. At the same time, Asa would gather the Nation together and offer 700 oxen and 7000 thousand sheep [2 Chronicles 15:11] and they entered into a Covenant to seek the LORD God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul; [2 Chronicles 15:13] that whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, man or woman.
Did you notice that "700 oxen and 7000 thousand sheep" where offered? Did you notice that these are the words of the Lord about forgiveness, using the term "70 x 7?" [Matthew 18:22]
Here, all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the LORD gave them rest round about. [2 Chronicles 15:15]
Here, the word oath means to "Seven oneself" as if by repeating seven times in order to properly complete. The word oath also represents STRONGS H7650:Abbreviations
[שָׁבַע] 186 verb swear (probably, so to say, seven oneself, or bind oneself by seven things.
What would those seven things be? Here, it was the Sacrifices of Righteousness of Christ Jesus: His resurrection of completed rest through the Altars of the LORD. Here, we see pure strength after the binding of Covenant [7 oneself] the offering of the 700 oxen and 7000 sheep. Hallelujah!
You see, "Oaths of the Covenant" are confirmed by seven sacrifices, [Genesis 21:28) or by seven witnesses and pledges.Gesenius' Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon H7650
This is the secret to haveing a "pure heart", or a perfect heart which means to "7 oneself.'
2 Chronicles 15:3-6
Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law. But when they were in their trouble did turn unto the LORD God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them. And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the coutnries. Nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for God did vex them with all adversity.
In Closing | The Lord is With You
So, as we come to an end of this section we began with the statement "The Lord is With You" as "You are With Him."
We have always heard these words but did you read that statement with a different hearing ear? We must make it part of our personal discipleship to understand "That the Lord is with us as we seek Him. If we do not seek Him, as the words of the prophet said, the LORD will not be with you."
I was reminded of the words of Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew, "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will open." Here, we see part of "Seeking the Lord" is through the idea of "Binding yourself 7 times to a thing" [to Seven Oneself] so that you may be strong, and have good courage. When we say "Seven Oneself" we must understand that this statement has to do with the "Oath of Covenant." In our next section we will begin to learn more about this Oath of Covenant, to "Reform the Altar of the Lord."
This is the purity of binding and loosing when we understand the "Oath of Covenant."
