Call for Papers
Call for papers for the main session
We invite abstract submissions for oral and/or poster presentations on topics pertaining to natural language semantics, pragmatics, the syntax-semantics interface, psycho- and neurolinguistics of meaning, and the philosophy of language. There are two special themed sessions, taking place on Wednesday 2 September 2020 at Queen Mary University London. The main session will be held at University College London on 3–5 September.
Abstracts should be anonymous and must not exceed two pages (letter size or A4 paper, 2.5cm or 1 inch margins on all sides, 12 point font), including examples and references. Abstracts must be submitted electronically in PDF format via EasyChair by Sunday 1 March 2020 (23:59 Central European Standard Time).
+++Abstract submission for the main session is now closed+++
Please note that abstract submission for the special sessions is through separate links (abstract submission for the workshop on the semantics of understudied languages and semantic fieldwork is open until 15 March)
Abstracts should contain original research that, at the time of submission, has neither been published nor accepted for publication. One person can submit at most one abstract as sole author and one abstract as co-author (or two co-authored abstracts), for the main session and the special sessions combined. Main session submissions can, of course, be on the topic of one of the special sessions, and will be given full consideration. Authors will be asked to specify at the time of submission their preference for their abstract to be considered for a talk (35+10 minutes) and/or a poster.
