I've put this page together to give you details of how to access Thursday's venue, Milton Keynes Quaker Centre in Downhead Park. There are also videos on my Instagram to help.
Address: 1 Oakley Gardens, Milton Keynes MK15 9BH
Enter the garden through the archway, and the main door is straight ahead. We will mostly be in the Garden Room, which is down the corridor to your left, and occasionally be in the Committee Room, which is to the right. I will let you know in advance which room we are in.
There is space for several prams, buggies and scooters in the room, outside under the roof, or in the corridor to the right of the main room (please don't block any exits).
Parking
There is space for 12 cars just outside the building, including one disabled space. The building is single storey and fully accessible. There is also an additional free carpark outside the Cross and Stable Church, Downs Barn. It is an easy 5 minute walk away, with a pedestrian underpass taking you under the main road (V9). There is also on-street parking available along Oakley Gardens.
Other ways to get here
Bus: Arriva bus number 7 stops on V9 Overstreet near the Quaker Centre. Ask for ‘Downhead Park’ stop. You may need to take the pedestrian underpass to cross under V9 Overstreet to reach the Quaker Centre

More to do in Downhead Park
Though the Quaker Centre itself is in a lovely quiet residential area with several local playgrounds, it is ideally situated for further activities in central Milton Keynes. It is a 5 minute walk to Campbell Park, a 30 minute walk/4 minute drive to Central Library, a 20 minute walk/2 minute drive to Gulliver’s, and a 20 minute walk/3 minute drive to centre:mk. I also recommend the Camphill Cafe, an 11 minute walk/ 3 minute away.
