I've put this page together to give you details of how to access Friday's venue, Stony Stratford Methodist Church. There are also videos on my Instagram to help.
Address: Silver St, Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes MK11 1JS
There are two entrances to the church hall. In the first picture you can see the entrance on Silver Street: the building on the left is the church itself, and the hall is the one on the right. You enter our room through the arched doorway that you can see just behind the lamppost. PLEASE NOTE this entrance has a step.
If you prefer step-free access I recommend the entrance in the second photo, which is directly from the Cofferidge Close car park. This is the fire exit door, which I will keep closed to prevent ninja toddlers from escaping, but do just knock and I will let you in. There is space for prams, buggies and scooters in the room.
Parking
There are three car parks within a minute’s walk of the Methodist Church:
Cofferidge Close, which has both long and short stay sections. There is an entrance to our room directly from the car park (see above). Handy for the shops and cafes on the high street, and the Tesco.
Market Square (short stay). Handy for the library, health centre, and the shops and cafes on the high street.
Horn Lane (long stay). Handy for Ousebank Way playground right next to it.
Other ways to get here
Bike: there are bike racks in Cofferidge Close car park, just outside the Tesco. We can probably fit a bike or two in our room as well. Plan your bike ride here.
Bus: Arriva buses 5, 6, and 6A have stops in Stony Stratford. Please confirm the latest bus timetables before you travel here.
Exploring Stony Stratford
Stony is a lovely town with lots to do for families. While you are here why not visit the library, which has a lovely large children’s section on the ground floor, and lots of family events? You could also try out the various cafes on the high street, or browse for treasure in the many charity shops. Your children may enjoy the many playgrounds or in the area, or a fun play session at Tots and Dots Play Cafe.
