WHAT MEMBERSHIP OFFERS

Being part of the Sin City F.O.O.L.S. means joining a brotherhood that extends beyond your firehouse.
As our chapter continues to grow, we're committed to building opportunities that bring firefighters together, strengthen our skills, and preserve the traditions of the fire service.

TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

Organizing hands-on training, educational events, and opportunities to learn from experienced firefighters. Our goal is to create an environment where members can sharpen their skills, exchange knowledge, and become better at their craft.

BROTHERHOOD & NETWORKING

Connecting firefighters from departments throughout Southern Nevada. Building relationships that extend beyond the firehouse and bringing together firefighters who share the same passion for the job.

CHAPTER EVENTS

Bringing members together through chapter meetings, gatherings, training events, and other activities that strengthen our brotherhood and allow members to stay involved.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Supporting charitable initiatives, fellow firefighters, their families, and the communities we serve. We believe the brotherhood has a responsibility to step up and help when others need it.

PRESERVING TRADITION

Promoting the history, culture, and traditions that make the fire service what it is. Honoring those who came before us and ensuring their knowledge and legacy continue through future generations.

INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD

Becoming part of the Fraternal Order of Leatherheads Society, an international brotherhood of firefighters dedicated to training, tradition, and preserving the pride of the fire service.

WHAT WE DON'T WANT

We aren't interested in egos, personal agendas, or firefighters who think they're above everyone else.
We don't care how many certificates you have, how many years you've been on the job, or what rank you hold if you aren't willing to listen and learn.
We don't want members who discourage others from asking questions, tear down firefighters trying to improve, or refuse to share what they've learned.
There's a difference between confidence and arrogance. Know the difference.
You don't have to agree with everyone. You don't have to know everything. And you certainly don't have to be the best firefighter in the room.
But you do need to be willing to learn, willing to contribute, and willing to help the next firefighter become better.

THE STANDARD WE WANT TO BUILD

Our goal isn't to become the biggest F.O.O.L.S. chapter. It's to build a brotherhood of firefighters who genuinely care about the job and the people they do it with.
We want members who challenge themselves, take initiative, and strive for excellence. Members who understand that greatness isn't something you achieve alone.
When one of us gets better, we all get better.
When one of us succeeds, we all succeed.
And when one of us struggles, the rest of us step up.
