Your rank, years of service, or department don't make you better than the firefighter next to you. We all bring something to the table. Every firefighter has knowledge to share, experiences to learn from, and something to contribute to the brotherhood.
Nobody knows everything. Nobody is above learning.
Sometimes the most valuable thing you can do is shut your mouth, listen, and learn from the firefighter standing next to you.
Ignorance, arrogance, and egos have no place here.
We want firefighters who aren't afraid to ask questions, admit when they're wrong, share what they know, and help the next person become better than they were yesterday.
This isn't about who has the most experience, who wears what helmet, or who holds the highest rank.
It's about having pride in the job, putting in the work, and surrounding yourself with people who push you to become the best firefighter you can be.
We're not here to compete against each other. We're here to make each other better.
If you have something to teach, share it. If you have something to learn, listen. If you see someone struggling, help them.
