Testimonials:
This year, EPIC is running as a workshop series aimed primarily at resident doctors. Previously, EPIC was an annual national conference for undergraduate medical students at the University of Birmingham, focusing on audits and quality improvement projects (QIPs).
“After attending that workshop, I had a better idea of what I actually need to do. When I approach consultants for projects, I feel more confident.” (Participant, EPIC 2025)
“I think it's increased my confidence… it makes me more willing to want to put myself forward and contribute to other projects going on because at least I'll have more awareness of the protocols” (Participant, EPIC 2025)
“Overall it was quite a positive experience, and I think the content felt very relevant. There was a lot of actionable stuff that was taught there I think, and stuff I can use in the future to do audits and QIPs.” (Participant, EPIC 2024)
