Conclusion
I started this project because it has always been my dream to make a business to sell my 3D prints. The project gave me the opportunity to do what I wanted and to give me an extra challenge of making the website.
I created the idea from a love of Tinkercad, tech and creativity. This love of what I was doing was key in keeping me on track to completing this project. This project was so fun and so creative, from picking my themes to creating my website and printing the finished products.
There were so many challenges and setbacks that made my project interesting but as Sam Altman (CEO of OpenAI) once said, “if you are not working on a hard problem, you are wasting your time.” Some of the challenges that I have overcome are the 3D printer breaking, modelling being hard and just powering on through the project was a challenge.
The great thing about building a website is that any time I want I can design a new product and put it on sale or I could expand the business, there are so many possibilities that I'm not sure yet what I will do next.
Another great thing about this project is all the skills I have learnt on the way, like building websites, studying trends to help in market research and developing my 3D modelling skills.
