About School

Our values are- dignity, co-responsibility, curiosity and openness of mind. Our aims are increase internationalization, improve the life skills and competences of staff and pupils through use foreign languages, environmental, entrepreneurial, ICT, cultural skills etc. The keywords for our organization are:Technologies, Entrepreneurship, Environment, international Education and Leadership. Our school is one of the national leading schools in terms of innovations and improvement of meaningful use of information technologies. We have set three key elements to develop the digital skills of our students: cultural awareness, individual capability and new understanding of connections (accessibility).

To develop leadership, responsibility, lead a healthy and nature friendly lifestyle, develop sustainablility are our priorities. Our school set a focus on development of STEAM education wich includes Environmental, Cultural and Enrepreneurial education. Our teachers use different methods- gaming, contest, Project based learning. Several years we participated in Ecoschool program, and this project would be a great impulse to continue the work of changing habits to lead a healthy and environmental friendly lifestyle in collaboration with other partnerschools. Using modern teaching methods and learning by doing will be the experience we can share with others during the mobilities.

The Profile of the Learners,

Our school is located 220 km from the capital city Riga at the Baltic see coast and presents 870 pupils 10-19 years old and 68 staff members.

In the project will be involved 16-19 years old pupils, IT, English, Social science and Environment teachers to develop project aims.
