Liepaja, what an incredible experience. Baltic culture, Latvian cuisine and people, colourful traditions and dances. The most notable and distinct part of being in Latvia is probably when you visit or talk about its history. It was not centuries ago but some 50 or 80 years ago. And almost all the people lived through that history personally. It is unbelievable.
