Russian Vehicle Identification

This document is a basic look over the vehicles typically used by opfor. The following topics are grouped in part by the classifications 'APC', 'Tank', 'IFV', and 'AA' but does not use these classifications in their individual descriptions.

Light Armor

This segment focuses around vehicles marked as APC's and IFV's in the Arma Zeus interface.

If possible, it is recommended to use an M2 or .50 cal machine gun against the BRDM as it's armor is fairly thin

It is not recommended to try using HEDP against the BTR-80 or BTR-80A as there is a high chance it will shoot back.

Medium and Heavy Armor

This segment focuses on vehicles marks as Tank's in the Arma Zeus interface.

Other Vehicles

This segment covers other commonly used Opfor vehicles that don't fall into the above categories.
