Ng, Z.

Zachary "BigBear" Ng is the Director of Sigma Security Group. Originally from Singapore, Zachary was born to a Eurasian middle-class family in 1973.Throughout his childhood, Zachary was heavily exposed to the aviation industry which meant that he had his sights set on becoming a pilot early on in life.

In 1988, Zachary joined the Singapore Youth Flying Club which further cemented his passion for aviation. At the age of 18, he enlisted in the Republic Singapore Air Force (RSAF) and accumulated thousands of hours flying the Bell UH-1H and eventually the AS332 Super Puma. After flying with the RSAF for 11 years, Zachary went on to explore other avenues and opportunities in the industry. In 2002 he flew with the UN in Sudan, supplying aid during the genocide period. In 2004, he flew with the Red Cross in the aftermath of the Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami. Zachary continued to fly various rotary-wing aircraft assisting in humanitarian disasters until mid-2019.

In mid-2019, Zachary was approached by Sigma Security Group to provide training and consultancy services in rotary-wing operations.
