Grant "GP" Packwood is a security contractor employed as Operator at Sigma Security Group. Packwood was the son of a retired Navy Corpsman, and lived a modest life as a child. He grew up with a love for the military, frequently playing with his green army men toys.

After graduation, Packwood went on to enlist in the U.S. Army as a Combat Medic Specialist (68W) in 2010, and went on to attend the Special Operations Combat Medic Course, to become a Special Forces Medical Sergeant (18D), considered to be the finest first-response and trauma medical technicians in the world.

He was deployed in 2012 to Afghanistan during the War on Terror as the medic for US Special Operations. After his first tour in Afghanistan, Packwood did not return to war until 2015, in his second enlistment, when he joined the 75th Ranger Regiment in Operation Freedom's Sentinel, to help Afghan counter-terrorism forces destroy an al-Qaeda training camp in a fierce fight that lasted for several days.

After Packwood's retirement from the Army in 2018, he was recommended by a close friend, Jake "Aratam" Bury, to Sigma Security. After joining, he distinguished himself as a proficient combat medic and team leader, and was promoted to Operator.
