Gideon "Emerich" Emery is a security contractor employed as an Operator at Sigma Security Group. Emery was born to a lower-class family in 1996 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, US.

Emery's primary goal in life was to become a war reporter and see truly what the world was like. In October of 2016, he got his wish as a cameraman to special correspondents for Vice News. He spent the next few years reporting scenes in active war zones and hot zones in the Middle East and in the Ukraine, meeting all sorts of individuals from all walks of life.

Emery originally began his employment in the private sector as a translator with no military background, his only experience being the languages he had learned as a special correspondent. His affinity for extracting information from locals garnered attention from the other Advisors in his division. After almost four years of cutting his teeth for the company, and under heavy training and reference from his friend and mentor, Cameron "Donut" Williams, he began working alongside other contractors in active operations across the globe.
