Erik "Spitzer" Axelsson is a security contractor employed as a Advisor in Sigma Security Group. Axelsson was born to a middle-class family and grew up hunting and fishing in the Canadian wilderness, with the ultimate goal of serving his country through a career in the armed services. Being adept in marksmanship and fieldcraft, he honed his skills through his childhood by participating in shooting competitions, eventually becoming a Black Badge certified IPSC shooter before enlisting with the Canadian Armed Forces at 18.
After a short three-year career, he enlisted in a police studies program, eventually transitioning to private security. His analytical personality and natural leadership qualities proved to be an asset in the private sector, and his marksmanship and familiarity with a variety of weapons platforms served him well in multiple overseas deployments. He was most notably recognized for being the only contractor to hold a confirmed kill over 1,250m while providing site security in Libya. Unfortunately, his Company was disbanded a few months later due to legal issues, and Axelsson was laid off.
Axelsson then went on to instruct police tactical teams through Colt Canada and volunteer as an auxiliary law enforcement officer. Eventually, he reconnected with his former contractors through his close friend and co-worker Gideon Emery, and found himself returning as a Manager with Sigma Security Group. He has since distinguished himself as a premier marksman under the callsign "Hitman" as well as the senior instructor for the Company on breaching and MOUT scenarios.
