Remember 注意

「食堂の営業時間、会場の周辺の飲食店・売店について」

12月7日（土）12:00 -13:30 は、食堂をご利用いただけます。主菜・副菜合わせて650円程度です。12月8日（日）は学内に食事を買える所がありませんので、昼食をご持参ください。お持ちいただいた昼食を召し上がれる場所をご用意いたします。以下のリンクから近隣の飲食店をご覧いただけますが、いずれも小規模なため利用できる人数は限られています。大きな飲食店はキャンパスから徒歩10分以上かかります。JR同志社前駅周辺にはローソンしかないため選択肢が限られます。コンビニで昼食をご購入される場合は、電車のご乗車前にご購入することをお勧めします。

託児サービスは提供されません

大会期間中の託児保育に対する需要と必要性を調査した結果、大会の参加者の関心が低かったため、託児保育サービスは提供しないことになりました。授乳用にファミリールームと個室授乳室をご用意いたします。

Cafeteria services & places to eat/buy lunch

Saturday, December 7, the cafeteria will be open to conference attendees between 12:00 noon until 1:30pm. Choices of main and side dishes will cost approximately ¥650. There will not be places to eat on campus on Sunday, Dec. 8 so please purchase something to bring for lunch. However, there will be eating spaces available to enjoy your lunch. You can use the following link to see nearby eating options; however, they are small and cannot accommodate large groups. Larger eating places are at least a 10-minute walk from campus. We recommend purchasing a lunch at a convenience store before catching a train to avoid finding fewer options at the Lawsons near JR Doshisha Mae Station.

"Iki Nuki" Room

There will be coffee available in the Iki nuki room all day, and we hope to offer other kinds of drinks at certain times as well. We will post the information at the conference site.

No Childcare Services Provided

After researching the demand and need for professional childcare service during the conference, due to the lack of interest in childcare service among conference participants, we are unable to provide childcare services during the conference weekend. Please do know that we will provide a family room and a private nursing room for breastfeeding.

There will be a separate family room and a private nursing room available to mothers for breastfeeding. Please check the conference website for details.

Young SIETAR Event

第一部　異文化理解ワークショップ「多角的な視点から紐解くあなたの価値観」
ある1つのストーリーからあなたが大切にしている価値観を紐解くワークショップです。
自分にとっては当たり前の価値観や優先順位も、人とは大きく異なることがあります！
自分の価値観を紐解きながら、参加者同士でそれぞれの価値観に触れてみましょう。

第二部　Young SIETAR Japan membersによる「わたしのキャリアこんな感じ」
Young SIETAR Japan運営委員の宮本亜裕さんと(まあやさん)は、学生時代に異文化コミュニケーション分野を専攻し、現在は社会人として活躍中です。二人の学生時代のこと、就職活動のこと、現在の仕事のことなど、ざっくばらんにお話します。将来のキャリアのご参考に！また、普段聞きたいけど聞けないアレコレ、ぜひ聞いてみてください！

2024 SIETAR Japan Conference Young SIETAR Event

Part1: Intercultural Understanding Workshop- " Realize Your Values from Multiple Perspectives".

This workshop aims to find your important unconscious values through a story. The values each person considers important might be different for everyone. Explore your values, share and discuss with others.

Part2: "My Career Journey" by Young SIETAR Japan Members.

Young SIETAR Japan committee members Ayu Miyamoto and Maaya Kinoshita studied intercultural communication as students. They will share experiences from their student lifes, job hunting and career. Feel free to ask them any questions!

Student research: Differences in handling frustration between English speakers and Japanese.

Pre-Conference Event

This year the pre-conference event organized by LiDi will be in Nara. This is a chance to learn about diversity in Japan and visit a part of Japan that is often forgotten in spite of being an ancient capital of Japan. Participation is free. Family Room and Nursing Room

- For those of you with young children, a Family Room will be available. This is a play/relax/rest area for families. All children require parental supervision. A nursing room will also be available for mothers on the same floor as the Family Room.

- If you have a publication/book that you would like to display, you are invited to bring a copy, with information on how to order. Please understand that this is not a space for sales purposes and that SIETAR Japan reserves the right to remove materials from the display area.

Iki Nuki Lounge

- The Iki Nuki lounge will be open throughout the conference. Come and take a break and enjoy coffee, tea and snacks.
