Grain Field 

Veal Srov - Grain Field introduces my journey by motorcycle to the southeastern region of Siem Reap. This seemingly ordinary landscape piqued my curiosity, urging me to explore beyond what meets the eye. Day by day, I engaged in conversations with the villagers living in the area.

Through these interactions, I learned about the rice farming process, their daily lives, and the stories surrounding the importation of rice seeds and farming machinery. I also came to understand how the changing? seasons shape both the land and their livelihoods.

During this journey, a small rice hut became a recurring spot for rest and reflection. These regular conversations offered me a broader perspective, extending beyond the rice fields of southeast Siem Reap.
