Fun fact: I don’t talk about reviews because once I start, it could go on for days. For instance, I could say quite a bit about the deliberate and targeted garbage thrown at us for these articles: (doi), (doi). But let me exercise restraint.
Anyway, for this paper, we received an impressively fast batch of what appears to be AI-generated, human-assisted nonsense masquerading as reviews. At this rate, the CPS community seems well on its way to becoming the next MPC community: remarkably efficient at dismissing anything genuinely new. Special thanks, of course, to the so-called esteemed reviewers and the ever-so-insightful AE whose collective brilliance ensured that originality was dealt with swiftly and decisively — without their confusion, I might never have fully appreciated how badly this paper needs a better home. Apparently, originality remains an acquired taste. No matter; with stronger theoretical and numerical results, it should land where it belongs.
