Luna's Project64
This is a fork of Project64 3.0.1 that I made to have a Linux compatible alternative to 2.4 (Yes, it works on Windows too). It removes the nagware and adds all of the good plugins for SM64 romhacks with good settings. Read the info below, then download it by clicking the icon on the left.
(Current version: Luna's Project64 v3.5.2).
Make sure to check out the FAQ page if you have any questions, especially regarding setup.
If you run into any issues not listed here (in either Windows or Linux), if you're unsure about which settings are best for you, if you want to help me with this project or you know how to fix an issue, or if you just want to chat about random stuff, feel free to discuss it in https://discord.gg/w9aCXwsKH9
Miscellaneous changes
The emu will prompt you to update when a new version is ready.
There are now extra savestate slots, for a total of 100. You can change them in the hotkeys tab from the settings window, or just access them through the system menu.
Loading savestates is now faster, and doing that a lot while screensharing on Discord will no longer crash the game.
The keyboard shortcuts to increase and decrease the game's speed have been changed to Ctrl + and Ctrl - respectively, since the original shortcuts kept getting in the way and it wasn't good.
The bug that caused the EEPROM to show corrupted data (182 stars in every file, etc) the first time you open certain hacks has been patched.
The Project64 icons are now purple. Just a little silly thing. ^-^
And a couple more!
Known issues
Changing graphics plugins while the game is running on Linux might overload your CPU (People have reported their PCs reading 150% CPU usage) which will require you to hard reset your PC. Make sure you end emulation (F12) before you attempt to switch graphics plugins.
Enabling "Pause emulator when window is not active" on Linux may pause the emulator whenever you open a ROM. The two options are pressing F2 when you load a ROM or disabling the setting.
Certain plugins don't seem to appear in the plugins list in some PCs. There are many reasons why this might happen, and so the specifics of each case are currently not known.
The status bar at the bottom of the PJ64 window may disappear if you use Vulkan on Linux in ANGLE GLideN64. You can either play without the status bar or switch to OpenGL.

Thanks to Prakxo for convincing me to try to make this, and to aglab2 for annoying me enough to get v3.4.0 out.
