Step 1: TinkerCAD samples

  • Clean up and assemble (if needed) your TinkerCAD print.
  • Post a snapshot of actual print (do not forget caption) and compare it with the online version. What are the issues? How could it be fixed (individual)?
  • Walk around the class and check other prints. Write about other designs (group).

Step 2: TinkerCAD

  • All team members: create an account on TinkerCAD.
  • Complete 6 “Basic Skills” tutorials. These tutorials are on the simple side of the possibilities for how TinkerCAD can be used. You are encouraged to experiment and try manipulations above and beyond the tutorials. Show each tutorial result to the CLA.

Step 3: Gadget design

  • Make the first draft design using TinkerCAD.
  • Share the design with your instructor.
