Designing the audio
I edited and created these sound effects using Reaper 64. For the soundtracks, I created them using FL studio. These sound bytes would later go into the Shroom Slayer game using Unity's Attenuation Feature. The spatial slider is used to either make the sound being played 2D or 3D. More effects added to the sound bytes are called Random and Emulator. Random will make similar sounds play so there's not just one sound looping. Emulator will change the pitch of each sound byte, providing even more of a variety of similar sounds. Creating the soundtrack was challenging, but very enjoyable to produce. I've been familar with creating sound effects, because I took an Immersive Sound Design class in the past.
