"I started gymnastics when I was older in Kansas City at Highlanders Gymnastics.  I started coaching when I was fifteen to offset the costs and realized I liked coaching even more than competing and have been doing it since then.  In 1997 I opened Show-Me Gymnastics so I could coach gymnastics the way I wanted to and  give kids in Columbia a place to train if they wanted to go beyond club level gymnastics."

I then three years later, joined her on the MIZZOU GYMNASTICS Team. We both were on a full-ride scholarship."

"During my years as a private club gymnast, I had many achievements. I was the Western National champion at the age of twelve years old. I attended the National Championship for Region three every year from then on after until I came to college. I won the National title on the vault, bars, and all-around 3x and placed in the top three on the beam and floor at each nationals. As a freshman in college, I was ranked number one in the nation for six weeks and competed on the same team as Julie Dorn. I was the PURINA CAT CLASSIC all around, vault and bars champion. As a MIZZOU gymnastics team, we captured the Big 8 championships ."

"I have been coaching since I was sixteen years old and love it. I coached at many gyms in Texas. I moved to Missouri seventeen years ago to be closer to my sister (Kristi) after the death of our older sister (Kelly). I started coaching at FLIPZ but after fifteen years. It was time to move on. I have currently been coaching classes and team at SHOW ME  and loving every minute. Show me has such a great fun spirit... and all the coaches and gymnasts have made me feel right at home."

Fun Fact: At the age of thirteen, I sustained an injury, dislocated foot, so severe that the doctors told my parents I would walk with a limp and would probably never run or do gymnastics anymore. My determination told them they were wrong. I came back even stronger and better. This experience has made me realize that if you dream it... no matter how hard... if you really want it... GOD will help you achieve your goals.
