In October, middle school students were tasked with becoming illustrators of their favorite book, comic book, manga, or graphic novel. The creative process was documented from early sketches, and concept drawings, all the way to the final product. Some students chose familiar, popular books, while others created drawings inspired by their personal creative writings. These covers also vary in media; some are on paper, while others are solely digital. The choice was left to the student on how they wished to complete their designs. Please enjoy these highly creative projects from Akili's Middle School art students.
