Ms. Perry was born and raised in New Orleans, LA., and is a graduate of Landry-Walker High School, where she became the first female Head Drum Major. Ms. Perry holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from Southern University A&M in Baton Rouge, LA, where she received a degree in Early Childhood Education.

She joined the Greater Morning Star Baptist Church choir at the age of 4 and attended NOBA school of dance at the age of five. This is her second year at Akili Academy as the Dance Teacher and the coach of Akili’s Dance Team and Majorette Team.
