Personal projects
My personal Github page: https://github.com/shoma444/.
I was introduced to the concepts of data assimilation during my first year of PhD. One of the projects that I worked on was to use the 4-D var data assimilation method fo analyze Chua's circuit. You can find a piece of code that I wrote (in Python) that does this on my Github page.
Another project that I worked on, this time a more personal one, was to use a bit of mathematics that I had learnt in undergrad (prime number modular arithmetic) to write a simple encryption program. It was also a way for me to pick up some C++.
I worked on some side projects making simple macOS apps with Python both alone and with my friends.
My first project is called RM Buddy (click for more information), a simple file organization app.
My second project was in collaboration with two of my colleagues. I lead our team in developing Exam Goals (click for more information), an app designed for students during exam season.
I like to play the piano in my spare time.
I also like to compose (if you can even call it that) random snippets of music. You can take a look at them here.
