Prof Prabal Chattopadhyay, visited our laboratory from 13 to 16 August 2025. He delivered a department colloquium on "Plasma Science: Fundamental and applied" and also provided us deep insight of plasma physics experiments in the laboratory.
Dr Meenakshee Sharma, visited our laboratory from 8-24 April 2025 to support our ongoing campaigns on RF plasma creation and characterisations.
Dr Reetesh Kumar Gangwar, Associate professor at department of Physics, IIT Tirupati recently visited our lab from 3-5 Feb 2025 and guided us on a few spectroscopic measurements related to atmospheric plasma experiments. He also delivered a department seminar.
Dr Sushil Kumar Singh, Senior Scientist and group leader of laser-plasma interaction, Institute of Plasma Physics, Institute of Physics, visited us during 20-21 December 2024. He also delivered a departmental colloquium on Hot electron and X-ray generation by sub-ns kJ-class laser-produced plasma.
Prof. Ajai Kumar, Adjunct professor, IIT Jammu, visited us from 1st July 2024 for 15 days to continue our project on plasma agriculture.
Prof. Ramesh Narayanan from IIT Delhi visited our laboratory on 8th June 2024 and spent the whole day interacting with PhD students. He explained the complexities of RF power sources and suggested some reading material. The group enjoyed a nice lunch together in his presence.
Prof. S. K. S. Parashar from KIIT, Oddisha, visited us on 24th May 2024. He interacted with the department and lab colleagues. He shared his experience working in various domains, including plasma physics.
Dr Prabhakar Srivastava, Scientist, IPR, visited our laboratory a few times between Oct 23 and Jan 2024 for our collaborative project on dusty plasma experiment. He helped us in developing plasma diagnostics, and installation of RF power supply assembly.
Dr Meenakshee Sharma, Scientist, Bellatrix, has been instrumental in setting up our experimental facility. She has regularly visited us since 2021, including Sept 2022 and Oct 2023.
Prof. R. P. Prajapati from JNU, Delhi, visited us on 28-29th July 2023. He was one of the external examiners for Mr. Ajaz Mir's thesis defence. He spared a day to interact with our group members.
Dr G Veda Prakash contributed significantly to the laboratory setup during the initial few years. He visited us in March 2021 to help set up the first few dusty plasma experiments.
