Draw a lot of hands. If you couldn't do hands before, well after February you'll know how. Because you keep drawing it until you master it. You want to construct the hand using geometric shapes. Again, thinking inside-out. simple blocks first, then outline. Nails and hand wrinkles are finishing touches. Make sure your pose is creative and dynamic, yet not unnatural. It's tricky, I know, I went through so many trials myself. And exaggerate it a little. Just a little. I think I got dinged here for making the action read like a throw, instead of a grab and hold. I knew this, but I really felt it was the best I can do. Plus it's different.
Right: Tawny's hands scored perfect. But honestly, there are so many other good ones. Keep in mind the marks are somewhat arbitrary at times. But in my opinion, they generaly mark pretty fairly (though there are many who understandably think otherwise).
