記者林中行∕花蓮報導 邁入第二十七屆的「二０二四洄瀾美展」二十九日舉行開幕暨頒獎典禮，誠摯邀請鄉親國人前來欣賞，展期自即日起展至一一四年一月十九日止，期待藉由展出作品豐富的媒材語言與多元的創作表現，與民眾共同探索創作背後的無限可能。 花蓮縣長徐榛蔚表示，「藝術生活化、生活藝術化」，連結各鄉鎮推動藝術下鄉活動，努力邀請國內外超高水準的藝文展演進到花蓮，累積藝術能量在花蓮的每個角落，讓花蓮也瀰漫著濃厚的藝術氣息。 開幕典禮上，徐榛蔚特別頒發二０二四洄瀾美展當代藝術創作類「洄瀾獎」，由嚴紹恩《帝國主義與生成擴散模型》獲獎，徐縣長說，特別感謝參與此屆洄瀾美展的所有藝術家參賽者，今年徵件二百八十四件作品、件件都相當精彩且豐盛，完美詮釋當代與經典媒材間多層次的美學對話與可能性。 花蓮縣文化局表示，為鼓勵藝術創作，洄瀾美展之形式與時俱進，二０二四洄瀾美展參賽資格不限族群、國籍，亦不限作品主題，鼓勵參賽者就花蓮經驗反映於自身創作中。
