The Spring Musical is one of the two main events that the Shasta High Instrumental Program focuses on during the year. The Musical runs for two weeks at the beginning of May, and students are required to audition for the pit. Audition sign-ups begin in January and are open to Band I, Band II, and Orchestra students. The Musical that will be performed in the Spring is revealed in December, just before we go on Winter Break.

For students participating in the Spring Musical Pit, practices begin in February, and run through April up until the beginning of the performances in April and May.
