GETTING STARTED

New and returning students (and their parents) must get connected with the SHIP Boosters through our online registration form: https://form.jotform.com/221366218923153. It is crucial that we have open lines of communication for the year to run smoothly. PLEASE REGISTER AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE!


This form includes a payment link for paying for band polos (all band/orchestra students who do not have one that fits/is in good repair), marching/concert shoes (any band/orchestra students who need them), and the football tailgate refreshment fee (all Pep Band students). If you prefer to pay by check, make it out to SHIP Boosters, Inc. Checks can be placed in the locked black box in Mr. Polcari's office at Shasta High School.



CONTACT SHIP

Our Gmail for most boosters business is shipbooster@gmail.com. Our financially focused Gmail is shipboosterbanking@gmail.com. We send and receive text messages via Google Voice at ‪(530) 276-8838‬. Students and parents, please read and respond (when asked) to our communications from these channels!

CHARMS


Charms is the database system used by the Shasta High Instrumental Program to keep track of student and parent information, instruments, uniforms, and send some email and text messages. Please follow these steps to log in:

  • Log on to www.charmsoffice.com, and click “ENTER / LOG IN” in the upper right corner.

  • Locate the “PARENT/STUDENT/MEMBERS LOGIN” section of the web page.

  • Login to your student’s program account using the following School Code:

  • The first time you go here, enter your child’s school ID NUMBER into the Student Area Password field.

    • You will be directed to the Change Password screen, to set a personal password different from the ID, for future use.

    • You may also be directed to create a unique Username and Password for the student. There are also mechanisms to recover/reset a lost Username/Password – when you create your new password, create a “hint” as well.

  • Whenever you enter using this Username/password, another more detailed screen appears, with various button options for you to access areas in the Charms account. (The Calendar lists events, and will show future rehearsals, and volunteer/RSVP opportunities.)

  • You can also download the Charms App to your Android smartphone (the Apple version is no longer supported) – search your App Store for “Charms Parent/Student Portal” (or “Charms Blue”). It’s the way to stay in touch on the go!

The Charms website is an excellent point of contact between parents, students, and boosters officers. Parents and students, please take the time to access it and make sure we have accurate information for you!
