The parks, libraries, and recreational spaces in Florence are where community happens, families gather, children learn, and neighbors connect. I want to help ensure these spaces continue to serve our city in meaningful and sustainable ways. These shared spaces should be welcoming, well-maintained, and accessible to residents with different needs and of all ages. As a Florence City Council member, I would support thoughtful investment in recreation that reflects the needs and character of our community.Â
I BELIEVE:
in maintaining safe, clean, and inviting parks and recreational facilities for families, children, and seniors.
libraries are vital community resources that promote learning, connection, and lifelong education for residents of all ages.
recreational programming should be inclusive, affordable, and responsive to community interests and needs.
long-term planning and routine maintenance help protect these spaces and ensure they can be enjoyed for generations.
collaboration with staff, volunteers, and residents is vital to guide improvements and future planning.
