Public services are the foundation of a well-run city. The work may not always be visible, but it affects our quality of life in meaningful ways. Our public service employees take pride in keeping our city functioning, and city leadership should value their experience and support them with clear priorities and responsible planning. As a Florence City Council member, my goal is to support the people who do this work every day and to make thoughtful decisions that keep our city running smoothly today and in the future.
I BELIEVE:
in maintaining reliable and efficient public services that residents can depend on every day.
public service employees deserve respect, safe working conditions, and the tools needed to do their jobs effectively.
long-term planning and routine maintenance protect city infrastructure and prevent costly emergency repairs.
responsible budgeting and thoughtful prioritization help ensure services remain consistent without placing unnecessary burdens on taxpayers.
open communication between city leadership, department staff, and residents identifies needs and improves service delivery.
