Public safety begins with supporting the professionals who serve our city every day. Our fire and police departments are made up of dedicated individuals who put the community first, and they deserve leadership that listens, respects their expertise, and ensures they have the resources they need to do their jobs well. I am running for City Council because I want to be a steady, supportive voice for the people who already do the work while making sure they’re heard, supported, and positioned to succeed.
I BELIEVE:
it is important to maintain strong, well-funded fire and police departments that prioritize safety, training, and preparedness.
city leadership should work with first responders by listening to their needs and valuing their experience.
in responsible budgeting that ensures proper equipment, staffing, and ongoing training.
public safety is strongest when there is trust and open communication between departments and the community they serve.
in thoughtful oversight that balances safety, accountability, and respect for the work these departments do.
