"reaching for her" is a song for an upcoming project, inspired by the idea of a girl longing to see her girlfriend once more. But alas, her girlfriend is now the moon.
"De Amor" is the main theme of Chronautical. It is based on a traditional guitar song from perhaps the 19th century (origins are not entirely clear). I was inspired by the melody and created instrumentation around it, as well as some additional melodic sections. The traditional and possibly familiar tune played on music box gives a warm and antique feeling, which is juxtaposed to the synths and more futuristic instruments. This is the aim of the game as a whole: bringing an warm and antique vibe to the usually cold and futuristic genre of sci-fi.
"Downfall" is the song that plays during the most significant moments of Chronautical's prologue, made to intensify the player's feelings in the moment. In game, this song also has several countermelodies that are dynamically added based on what NPC the player is talking to, making the player's experience of the game music unique to their playthrough.
"Race Against Time" is the music I composed for the teaser trailer at the beginning of development. Made to entice potential players into a story of action and mystery, this track is just a taste of what is to come.
