Mission Statement

Founded in 2009, the Saint Frances de Chantal Young Teen Group offers middle and high school teens a safe environment to express opinions, develop relationships, explore their curiosities, and deepen their sense of faith. Rooted in Catholic tradition, the group strives, through the use of discussion and meaningful activities, to help members learn more about God, themselves, and others around them.

Through a model of Christian leadership, the team of hand selected and trained leaders guide the members through the meetings maintaining the perfect balance of prayer and play. The meeting begins with guided discussion on a given topic. These topics can be faith based or teen related. Following discussion the remainder of the meeting is dedicated to purpose-driven fun in which activities or games are played that give real life meaning to the topic at hand. The group also holds various charity events and service projects as a way of showing that you can enjoy yourself while doing good work.
