1. The following dates and times are open on a rolling basis:

Tuesdays:

• 9:30 am - 12:30 pm, weekly unless otherwise noted

  • • • Ancient Plant Garden, Mediterranean Collection, and Rhododendron Garden with Dolores

      • Chile, Andean Cloud Forest, Southeast Asia, Gondwana, Children's Garden, and Nature Trail with Milo - switching to Fridays this May!

      • Mesoamerican Cloud Forest with Ben

      • South Africa, Nurseryman's Garden, and Dry Mexico with George

      • Succulent Garden, Camellia Garden and Moon Viewing Garden with James

Wednesdays:

• 9:30 am - 12:30 pm weekly

  • • • Celebration Garden, Entry Garden, Library Terrace and Patio with Julie

      • Fragrance Garden with Alma

      • New Zealand, Australia, Access Lawn and Conifer Lawn with Tyler

      • Temperate Asia with Jack - switching to Fridays this May!

      • Fern Green Team 

      • California Native Plant Collection with Ahmed

2. You can sign up for Green Team assignment through your personal site and select SFBG Horticulture: Weekdays to see the full calendar. Once you select your first day, email volunteer@gggp.org.

3. Please commit to volunteering at least three times per month (75% of the time). This enables you to get to become familiar with the Botanical Garden.  

4. Meeting the horticulturists on your first day. Ensuring that you can find them on your first day is part of why it is so helpful to email after selecting your first day. While the location will typically be the Library Terrace, we want to ensure you can find the location.
