Sign up for a shift on this calendar
Remember to track the number of visitors you speak with during your time in the Botanical Garden
Check in at the Member's Entrance (weekends) or the Kiosk (weekdays)
If you plan to be in a particular area, let the visitor services agent at the Kiosk know where visitors can find you
Head into the Garden!
Check-out and enter the number of visitors when you leave.
Tips:
Choose a location to situate yourself, so visitors can easily find you such as near the pond, or the fragrance garden
Rove with a partner! There are 4 spaces per shift. You do not need to stay together the whole time. If you would like support in connecting with another volunteer to try out roving, please reach out to groups.io or email Crystal at clstone@sfbg.org.
Pay attention to where the nearest restrooms and exit are
When kids are being rambunctious in the collections, you can encourage families to visit the Children's Garden where they can touch and run and dig and explore to their heart's delight.

1-2 blocks away are many options, just head right from the Main Entrance, out of the park.
