Programs and Partnerships Staff

I manage the library and help visitors through thoughtful library programs and services, interpretation and discussion, and in-depth research. Volunteers are amazing and help with many library projects, including cataloging, collection management, art exhibits, events, and programming.

I've been responsible for school and family programs for over 25 years and especially enjoy training and working with youth program guides and Children's Garden volunteers. More recently I’ve also been training and managing interpretive volunteers across the Gardens of Golden Gate Park, whether they staff interpretation stations, rove in the Gardens or give tours for the general public. I love helping people discover, learn about and share the wonders of the Gardens!

I work closely with the education team and our youth volunteers to get school and community groups in the Gardens. When I'm not scheduling group visits, you can find me in the gardens amongst the kiddos. I spend most afternoons with our Afterschool kids playing, creating and exploring in the Botanical Garden. I love seeing the Gardens through the kids' eyes, making new discoveries together in this magical place.

I help manage the Children's Garden education and volunteer programs, including CG Green Team, Teen Green Team, and program aides. To maintain the hands-on learning landscape and to expand/maintain program capacity, volunteers are a crucial component of the CG. I look forward to sharing my garden knowledge and assisting in training new and experienced volunteers!

I primarily manage programs in the Children's Garden which consist of school group visits, family programs and volunteer programs.  With the help of the Garden Educator and the Director of Education we all strategically plan and care for the learning landscape of the Children's Garden.  I look forward to helping support more education programs through out all Gardens of Golden Gate Park.

I manage the public programs at the Gardens, from the small sketching classes to the big community events like Flower Piano! I love working with volunteers and families and seeing what attracts people to the Gardens. I also manage our Garden After School and Garden Camp programs. There's something at the Gardens for everyone, no matter their age! 

I help out with public programs at the Gardens, both behind the scenes and in-person. If there is a large event at the Gardens, I work directly with volunteers to help get things set up and running smoothly. I was once an intern at the Gardens myself, so I understand the value of volunteering both from the side of the organization and the side of the volunteer. I look forward to working alongside you!
